Leoncio Badía, better known as the undertaker of Paterna, gave burial to hundreds of Republicans shot by Franco's regime during the years 1935-1945. This sculpture by the artist Nassio Bayorri gives recognition to the undertaker, who through fabric cuttings, messages in bottles, buttons and locks of hair tried to ensure that the relatives of the victims could be identified.
Leoncio Badía, más conocido como el enterrador de Paterna, dio sepultura a centenares de republicanos fusilados por el franquismo durante los 1935-1945, esta escultura del artista Nassio Bayorri da un reconocimiento al enterrador, que a través de recortes de tela, mensajes en botellas, botones y mechones de pelo intentó que los familiares de las víctimas pudieran ser identificadas.
