Description

It is located on a mound, presiding over the hamlet. It has a Latin cross floor plan and a nave with three bays covered by a barrel vault with blind lunettes and side chapels. It is finished off with an apse behind the presbytery. The masonry is made of exposed masonry on the outside with ashlars on the plinth and corners. The dome is covered with white and blue tiles. The tower located at the foot of the church stands out, almost free-standing, with the bell tower built in brick and topped with a cupola, similar to those of Agost or Bigastro.

This church has a Latin cross floor plan and its nave is covered by a barrel vault. Its interior decoration is scarce, but the three altars of the transept and presbytery, the old floor, the pilasters of the nave and the dome over a large drum are outstanding.

Its dimensions are larger than would be expected given the modest size of the village. It has a Latin cross floor plan and a nave with three bays covered by a barrel vault with blind lunettes and side chapels covered with vaults. It is finished off with an apse behind the presbytery. The interior decoration is scarce, but there are frescoes and plaster reliefs on the dome, presbytery and pendentives. The three classical altars in the transept and presbytery, the classical pilasters in the nave, the old ceramic tiled floor and the dome over a large illuminated drum are of particular note. The masonry is of exposed masonry on the outside with ashlars on the plinth and corners. The dome is covered with white and blue tiles, and the prismatic tower located at the foot of the church stands out, almost free-standing, with the bell tower built in brick and topped with a dome, similar to the towers of Agost, Bigastro and San Juan.
